The first edition of [_AlUla Design Award_ (ADA)](https://aluladesignaward.livingmuseum.com/en/), in collaboration with Saudi Design Festival (SDF), celebrated a new era of design inspired by AlUla's rich heritage and artistic legacy. The event recognized exceptional design proposals from both emerging and established designers, with a focus on two categories: Premium Retail and VIP Gifting. The winning designs were showcased at the SDF, with the finalists announced during a prestigious networking night and press preview.
The exhibition, titled Inspired by AlUla, immersed visitors in the region's cultural and material heritage through a sensory experience that allowed them to interact with the materials and stories that form the foundation of AlUla's design narrative. The showcase highlighted the winning designs, featuring prototypes, materials, and sketches, accompanied by soundbites from the designers explaining their creative process.
The exhibition aimed to position AlUla as a creative hub and a destination for arts, culture, and design excellence. It explored how the region's unique history and artistry could inspire global design innovation.
